I’ve been buying and selling coin collections, banknote collections and postcard collections in Essex for 40+ years. Many of my customers have inherited these items and want to sell them, many have been building a cherished collection for a long time and are considering parting with them.

I’m particularly interested in coins like Florins, Gold Sovereigns and Crowns, Maundy money, pre-1947 Silver and ancient coins. I’ve been buying English, Scottish, Irish, Welsh and World coins, banknotes and postcards for a long time and there’s not much I haven’t seen. Should you Auction? If you have items for sale, and wish to enter them in to an auction, bear in mind you’ll usually end up worse off after fees are taken in to account than if you sold directly to me!
